August Ritchie

August Ritchie is a lifelong environmental and pro-peace activist, writer, poet and refugee of the technology start-up world.

He has a deep interest in philosophy, systems thinking, futurism and strategies / structures to save the last of the remaining nature — as well as ourselves. When he is not gardening, hiking or sailing, you'll find him surfing the waves of the western Pacific … far, far away from technology.

His first book, the sci-fi philosophical adventure: The Last Fish, is meant to inspire people of all ages toward a life of purpose ... and if possible, help build the next generation of nature guardians. The entire story was written and illustrated while living in and marveling at the natural beauty of Kyushu, Japan.
