Bruno Caron

Bruno Caron is a financial and actuarial professional with more than 20 years of experience. He is a co-founder and managing partner at CM Risk Consulting. Before founding CM Risk Consulting, he was an Associate Director at AM Best where he managed several senior management relationships of North American Life and Annuity insurance companies and opined in their financial positions. He held a role at Jefferies where he was a sell-side equity associate, covering the life and annuity space. He also held roles at TELUS Health, Survival Sharing, New York Life and Willis Towers Watson.

His involvement in the broad insurance space has been discussed in various general media outlets, including Barron’s, the New York Times and Reuters. He has also published articles in specialized and professional organizations, including the Retirement Income Journal, AM Best, ASPPA, the AAA, the SOA and ThinkAdvisor. He is also a co-host on the podcast That Annuity Show.

He is the ASPPA 2016 Ed Burrows Award recipient and a nominee for the inaugural 2019 Insurance Careers Movement Emerging Leaders Conference.

Bruno is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). He was also a member of the AAA Lifetime Income Risk Joint Committee. He holds an Honors Bachelor in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, majoring in Actuarial Sciences and Statistics.
