J L Connor

J L Connor was born and bred in the north-west of England, before hot-footing to the Middle East. For four years she worked as a long-haul air stewardess, travelling all over the world and subconsciously gathering information for a writing career she didn't know she was going to have. It was a tad different from Manchester. She now lives in the south of England with her husband and two sons.

Conflict of Loyalties is the first book in the series The Double Life of Amanda Hern; an intriguing world, yet divisive. You'll either love or loathe Amanda for what she does and who she is. She's ambitious and driven, yet there is a heart in there - it's just very well protected.

To discover more about how Amanda's double life began and her recruitment into the mysterious Omicron, the prequel, Into the Shadows, can be downloaded for free from www.jlconnor.com.
