Elizabeth Cook

Elizabeth Cook is an American nutritionist born in Milwaukee in 1965.

She has found her vocation in helping people, especially women over 50, with her nutrition programs because of her family history.

In fact, Elizabeth's mother had severe weight control problems and suffered from eating disorders, which exploded mostly at the age of 52, leading to other alarming health problems.

During those years, Elizabeth understood her mother's suffering and decided that, in one way or another, she would have helped her regain her ideal weight, so she started devouring an incredible amount of nutrition books throughout high school.

At the age of 21, she moved to Jefferson City to study at the Faculty of Nutrition and Dietetics. He followed the lessons with great passion and graduated with honors.

Today she runs her own nutrition center made specifically for women over 50, and, throughout her career, she has helped thousands of women regain and maintain their weight with the help of her programs.

Elizabeth lives with her husband Harry and her three children in a villa on Lake Michigan's eastern shore. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and jogging with her best friend, Betty.

The author's mission is to help women over 50 face a period of life that is as beautiful as it is delicate, which requires a lot of attention, especially from the nutritional point of view. Her books are the result of 32 years of study and direct experience in the field.
