Ben Douglass

Ben Douglass (a.k.a. Benjamin Douglass, Ronald Douglass, Dizzy Douglass & Yusuf Amir) is a 71-year-old grumpy, white guy with prostate problems and Type 2 diabetes. He loves writing essays, short stories, poems, novels, and plays for his own amusement and the amusement of others. He currently has a backlog of out-of-print and/or unpublished items that will be forthcoming as time permits. He is an obsessive reader of the classics - they never get old and are still relevant in today's chaotic, pandemic world. For the past 38 years, he's been living in the Concordia neighborhood of Northeast Portland, Oregon, with four cats, one dog, and his wonderful Consort, Ave Marie.
