Jeffrey Watson

Jeffrey Watson is a gifted storyteller, blending biblical and cultural insight from the first century. Many have wondered: "When did teenage Mary tell her parents and fiance that she was pregnant? How did the holy family get to Egypt and what did they do there? What was Mary feeling when Jesus' first miracle put her back on her heels or when His public teaching pointed squarely at her in the crowd? Did this famous Son ever tell His mom that death was just around the corner? Who were those four loyal friends, huddling close to Mary at the foot of the cross? Did Jesus ever appear to His mother after He came back to life?"

Rooted in frequent trips to the Middle East and his education at University of Maryland (M.S., Ph.D.), Dallas Theological Seminary (D.Min.), Catholic University (M.A.), Capital Bible Seminary (Th.M.), and Washington Bible College (B.A.), Jeff invites readers to walk the bittersweet path—joining Jesus and Mary on that unique journey from the first Christmas through the first Easter.

Watson lives in the Washington DC suburbs and serves as Director of Operations for Erickson Senior Living and is on the Adjunct Faculty at University of Maryland (UMBC).
