Steven J Doyle

Steven was born in the UK and moved to Australia as a child. He lives on Australia's East Coast with his wife, two children, two dogs, and a cat that thinks it's a tiger. His house is off-the-grid and runs on hydro and solar energy.

The Star Wars universe captured a piece of Steven when the first movie burst onto the scene. Books such as Dune, 1984, Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Enders Game, Blueback, Harry Potter, The Maze Runner, and The Hunger Games have influenced his writing.

Steven’s thirst for adventure has led him to sail across oceans and work as a dive instructor on the Great Barrier Reef. Through experiencing unique environments at home and during travels in the US, Canada, South and Central America, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific, Steven has developed a deep appreciation for nature. He loves terrifying himself by getting up close with sharks and snakes and other wild creatures.
