Leigh Dyson

Author, Leigh Dyson, has always been fascinated with his family history and the stories of the generations before him. Leigh wanted to write novels where true stories were sprinkled with fiction. Before writing his first novel ‘The Magpie Barks’ he researched his family tree. During this time, he uncovered tales of lust, love and hidden intentions. These stories are now woven into the fabric of ‘The Magpie Barks.’ A fast-paced thriller of hardship and endurance led by real people, his Grandad and Grandma. In a story where only one side can win.

Since then he has written further books gradually going further back in time and usually situated around Wath upon Dearne or Edwinstowe where he lives now.

Writing has become his main hobby. Otherwise Leigh enjoys time with his Grandsons or simply relaxing in the wonderful environment of Edwinstowe on the edge of Sherwood Forest.
