Charlotte Watkins

Charlotte is a British children’s book Illustrator and designer currently based in Derby.

She has always had a passion for art and started drawing from a young age. Throughout her school life she continued to develop her skills was often commended for her commitment and artistic ability, this ultimately led her to pursue a career in the creative industry.

Graduating from De Montfort University with a First-Class Degree in Animation in 2017, she worked as a scene planner at Illuminated Films on ‘Little Princess’ series 4 for Channel 5. Charlotte now works as a freelance illustrator, working with clients from all around the world. Her credits include ‘The Lucker Story’ by Joy Cox and ‘Peter the Picky Polar Bear’ by Kieshia Chun.
