Dr. Nakeisha Maharaj, aka Nikki Maraj, started off her journey as a minister and soon found herself as the CEO of her own international company, Royalty African Fabrics and Accessories and R.A.B. African dolls. After realizing her many talents, she continued to dabble in various areas and has now found herself to be a serial entrepreneur. She has become an avid crafter and passionate philanthropist.
Born and raised in the sweet Island of Trinidad and Tobago, she later moved to the United States in pursuit of her dreams and fulfilling her destiny. Dr. Maharaj has persevered academically by obtaining her Doctorate Degree of Christian Theology and Bachelor's in Early Childhood Care and Education. Presently, she is a devout mother of 2 beautiful children, Cristofer Jaaziah and Jzodha Cristiana, who are her greatest joy and love. As she continues to excel in her field, she has since sat on panels discussing pressing topics of financial literacy among youths as she helps them to lay the foundation for early future monetary successes.
Earlier in the year 2021, Dr Nikki first became a #1 International Best-Selling Children's Author with her second book 'Scrappy was in love with an owl' in less than 12 hours of self-publishing it. A month later her first self-published book 'Called to purpose' also made the #1 International Best-Seller's list. Five months later she release her third book "Thank you GOD for another day" which became a #1 Best-Selling book in less than 3 hours of releasing it. Her most recent book, "Thank you God" copped 2nd place with TCK publishing for the best readers choice award. Furthermore, her book "Called to Purpose' was awarded with honors by NALIS in their journey to publication series. Dr.Nikki has recently been featured in the Trinidad and Tobago Newsday, as April's spotlight 2021 in the Distinctive Woman Of Worth magazine, has been a featured guest on American Public University System (APUS), The Lady Tracey radio program, Author to Author with Brandy, Humanity chats with Marjy Marj and also at numerous public schools.
She continues to inspire and empower children and families as they journey through their lives. She enjoys giving back to children and have provided many school supplies for single parent families who were in need. Additionally, at the centre of this pandemic, she also engaged in grocery distribution for families who were struggling and continue to grow with in this venture.
This God-fearing woman is known for her acts of kindness, heart of compassion towards humanity who strongly believes in charity and being a blessing to those in need.
