Bruce Jackson

Bruce R. Jackson is the creator of “Chance Drifter”, “Anyman” and the characters Carl and Albert Roach of the “Bugtussle” series. Now he has authored and illustrated “The Texoma Horror”, the first book in the Culigma series. He is an accomplished journalist for multiple newspaper,s having won numerous awards from the Oklahoma Society of Professional Journalists. Bruce graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and holds degrees in Communication, Fine Art and Commercial Art. In the United States Navy he qualified as a Religious Program Specialist and saw action in the 1986 Libya strike. As a US Veteran, his insights and experience working in diverse and challenging situations provide the talent and skill necessary to tell accurate and intriguing stories. Bruce began his writing career in 1999 and lived in Bennington, OK with his wife, Jenetta, until 2025 when he returned to his old stomping grounds of Bartlesville.
