Ta'Shay Mason

Ta'Shay is a Texas native and a U.S. Army Veteran with 16 years of service, retired federal employee, and now a military education coordinator. She volunteered at a grief counseling center for children who lost a parent through death as a group facilitator. She currently volunteers with an online grief support group as a facilitator for adults. Her vision is to help encourage others to be their best selves by enhancing their life's journey. Her debut children's book series " A Child's Journey Through Grief" is personal due to the death of her father when she was 9 years old. She wants her series to help families have the tough discussion about death, grief, and loss. The series helps help any families experiencing grief and also for those young readers who might need help in understanding someone else who is going through a loss.
