Dr. Hollee Freeman

Dr. Hollee Freeman is a National Board Certified Teacher and has worked as an elementary teacher, district math coach, national mathematics trainer, educational researcher, curriculum writer and professor.

Dr. Freeman has authored numerous book chapters and articles focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), educational reform, gender and educational equity in the US and abroad. She has recently presented a TEDx talk about the importance of creating cross-cultural, cross-racial, cross-economic learning spaces for students and adults in the area of STEM. Dr. Freeman volunteers her time locally and serves on several Boards and community organizations including the Richmond Public Library, The Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities, and The Afrikana Independent Film Festival. In addition, Dr. Freeman teaching writing/self-care courses at the Innerwork Center and Life in 10 Minutes.
