Caroline Boxall

Caroline Boxall writes children’s adventure stories, spy mysteries and creative writing books, usually while trying to remember where she left her tea. She is the author of The Ember Enigmas, The Runaway Children of India series and the Crazy Creative Writing guides used in schools across the UK.

A former primary teacher, she now works as a full‑time author and curriculum architect, creating literacy programmes, running book clubs and occasionally building escape‑room puzzles. She is also attempting a return to golf - partly for the exercise, partly for the fresh air, and partly to stop herself writing “just one more chapter”.
