Amy self-published her first book when she was 12 and has been creating stories for kids ever since.
Now her own four kids are her co-conspirators, with ideas captured from their hilarious and quirky life, riffed on until pants are peed, and sketched out on coffee shop napkins and homework assignments.
As a certified emotional consciousness coach, Amy assists people in translating their feelings to shift old thoughts, patterns and beliefs into new choice, new agreements, and a new reality. Amy has a way of taking big universal truths, putting them in the blender and serving up stories of consciousness that kids of all ages can enjoy and relate to. Like a fruit smoothie with kale.
Amy grew up on a farm on the Minnesota/Canadian border, was voted "Most Likely to be an American Gladiator" and has played the piano and French horn for 30 years. Her three pet chipmunks are named Larry, his brother Darryl and his other brother Darryl. Amy loves board games and riddles, ecstatic dance, travel, playing sports, cilantro, and all things outdoors.
