Catherine Bruzzone

Catherine Bruzzone studied Italian at Reading University and started her career teaching French and Italian at secondary schools, from beginners to A Level. She moved into publishing where she worked as an editor at Harrap, Thomas Nelson and Pan Books before starting her own business, b small publishing, specialising in non-fiction and foreign language learning for children. She has written and commissioned language learning books for primary age children including first words and phrases, picture dictionaries with everyday vocabulary and home-learning programmes for MFL: French, Spanish, Italian and ELT. She has a passion for learning languages herself and encouraging others to enjoy them too. She has two bilingual daughters and two nearly-bilingual granddaughters and lives between Twickenham, Snowdonia and a sailing boat.
