I have spent most of my working life in the food trade. Originally as a restaurant chef and then as a street food trader. It is now time for me to write down some of my ideas and get them into print. Over the last decade I have traded at hundreds of festival and events and served near enough 100,000 portions from our vans. I think this means I am an expert in grilled food if nothing else.
As someone with dyslexia, the journey of writing a book has been tricky. Plus I have had very little experience with the writing something longer than an email since school. The process of articulating my ideas and honing my illustrations has been the best part of 2020. As time passes and I write more recipes, I hope that both are improving.
