Patrick Patridge

Dr. Patrick Patridge, born in Dublin, Ireland, a graduate of University College Dublin, historian, poet and geographer.

Living and working in Germany since November 1988 – arriving in Frankfurt am Main exactly one year to the day before the Fall of the Berlin Wall.

Patrick has worked as a castle guide at the Marksburg – the headquarters of the German Castles Association - and as an Irish Tourist Board representative in Frankfurt am Main promoting Ireland as a destination for conference, incentive, group and leisure travel.

For the past two decades Patrick has been promoting and marketing tourism services worldwide with his consulting company, Tourism Marketing & Public Relations.

Patrick is a popular speaker not only on tourism issues but also on Irish, British and Germany history.

Patrick's writing is a mix of playful prose for a rainy afternoon, a potpourri of fantasy, fact and veritable fiction.
