Jon R. Sorenson

Jon Sorenson was born and raised in small-town Minnesota. He became a follower of Jesus Christ at age 11 after receiving the gift of salvation while watching a televised Billy Graham crusade.

He is retired from a career that included 25 years in sales and marketing and 15 years directing communications for a 4,200-person church in suburban Minneapolis. When not writing and managing his faith-based social media, Jon is a much sought-after speaker at Christian recovery meetings and facilitates support groups for loved ones of addicts.

Jon and his wife, Nancie, currently reside in a Minneapolis suburb in close proximity to their three adult children, three grandchildren, and one highly spoiled dog, "Simba."
