Thank you for joining me in discussing Kathy's Way.. My wife and I were married for a few months short of fifty years. During those years we raised a large family while practicing medicine and nursing. She was my helpmate. The BEST one could have. Although I have published multiple academic medical articles and contributed to textbooks this memoir is my first book written outside my profession and it is important to share her love and purpose in life. Her clarity of thought and investment in others was simply extraordinary. I believe if we care for each other, as did she, we can accomplish the extraordinary also.
It is my privilege to be a pediatrician and father of six. My education was at Saint Peter's College and The George Washington University School of Medicine. Residency in New York and Washington DC was followed with military service at West Point. Fifty years of pediatric practice preceded Kathy's Way, a way worthy of imitation. Thank you .
