Latoya Patterson

Born in Portland, Jamaica, Latoya Patterson is an Author, Poet and an Educator who has taught for over 15 years. She holds a Diploma in Teaching, as well as a Bachelors in Education and a Diploma in Children’s Media Production. Latoya has always had a passion for writing and has exercised her creative spirit by choreographing traditional dance pieces for her students and teaching and writing poems, songs, plays and dramatic pieces for her students to perform in the annual national performing arts competition in her native country. She currently resides in Canada where she is pursuing her writing career.

I Wish Mommy Would Come Home is her debut children’s book.
