Alex T. Narli

Alex is a children’s book author that lives in the Atlanta, GA area with her family, which includes one kid, a wonderful man, and a bonus kiddo. Her family also consists of two cats, Batman & Robin, & a dog named Sienna. All three fur babies are rescues from local shelters.

Since she was a little kid, Alex has always had silly ideas popping into her head. She started keeping a list of these silly ideas in hopes of someday turning them into books for kids to enjoy. Finally, she did just that with her first book which you are reading right now, Haven, The House Who Got Homesick. Aside from writing, Alex enjoys hiking to waterfalls, learning how to bake new desserts, mid-day naps on the couch, and playing board games with her family.

Alex had the idea for this book on a flight home from a vacation. By the time her flight had landed the first rough draft of “The House Who Got Homesick” had been born. Alex decided it was too good to share, and kept this book to herself for a few years before she finally had the focus and support to actually get it written, edited, illustrated and published. (Ok, really, Alex was a bit shy about sharing her book. She also was busy working full time as a nurse and a first time Mom, and just didn’t have the time, support, or resources to turn her idea into a real book to share with the world.) She’s thrilled to finally share this story and her dreams of writing for children everywhere.
