"Driven by an insatiable curiosity and passion for food, I have tasted the typical dishes of 42 countries in the world, contaminating my kitchen with other cultures. This is the engine that gives me the push to run my restaurant!"
Anthony D'Amico's relationship with food is similar to that of a child who observes the world with infinite curiosity.
The chef of Italian origins was born in Naples in 1975 and spent his childhood immersed in the typical flavors of Italian cuisine.
Between a lasagna and a carbonara, he learned the art of cooking directly from his grandmother Graziella, one of Naples's most renowned chefs in the 60s.
At the age of 16, he emigrated to the United States with his family to bring good Italian cuisine to the streets of New York.
Alongside his passion for cooking, Chef Anthony loves traveling. This is how he began a twenty-year long search for the world's flavors.
Anthony has worked alongside the best chefs at an international level and has had the opportunity to see the most diverse techniques up close.
Thanks to this extraordinary experience, D'Amico creates a unique culinary style that he now offers in his restaurant on Long Island.
Today, chef Anthony has decided to share his "globetrotter" Mediterranean diet with the rest of the world through his cookbooks.
He currently lives with his family in Manhattan and is committed to passing on his knowledge in the country's best cooking schools.
Thanks to his love for cooking, he has helped improve the diet of thousands of people through his publications, proposing healthy and tasty dishes.
