Karl Wielecki is the author of The Lobster and the Elephant. He started life in Warsaw, Poland and came to the US at the age of seven. Many years later he moved to Orlando and in a flash of fictional inspiration introduced a crustacean to a pachyderm and sent them on a wilderness trek.
An enthusiast of twos, he's writing his second book about teenage twins transported to-- well, it's not finished yet. When not writing, he can be found shooshing his two miniature dachshunds so he can go back to writing.
