Michael Barrington

Michael Barrington, an award-winning English author, has written 13 books, mainly historical and literary fiction, and published more than 60 short stories and articles in the USA, Europe and UK. He is a feature writer for the Diablo Gazette, and has recently published two collections of short stories. He is the Vice President of a large Writers Club with 175 members and facilitates several writers' groups. Take a Priest Like You (2025) is a memoir. His current novel, Colourblind ( April 2026), recounts an untold World War II story of Black troops being welcomed with open arms by small English village and the US military attempts to impose racism and segregation in the UK.

He is currently working on a non-fiction book concerning a collection of German dog tags and artifacts from World War II, tracing their owners and histories.

He lives near San Francisco
