Bran Middlederth

Bran Middlederth is a songwriter/poet turned children's author, finding inspiration from his two children to write "When the Germies Are Gone".

After initially beginning to write and develop other children's book concepts, Middlederth's focus took a sharp turn due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Priorities were changing, and observing the effect that quarantine had on his family helped to influence a new path.

Released on 11/11/20, "When the Germies Are Gone" became the colorfully illustrated perspective of a child living and dreaming during a pandemic. The book takes a fun and silly approach, but also aims to portray the hopes, anxiousness, and wide range of emotions felt by children during these uncertain times.
