Jennifer Chastain

Jennifer Chastain has been devouring books since her small-town childhood, where she dreamed of epic adventures, brave heroes, and love stories worth staying up for. Today, she writes suspense-filled romances threaded with danger, devotion, and hope that carry her characters through the darkest moments.

A northern transplant, Jennifer fell in love with the charm of the South—and with a Charlotte native she’s been married to for more than thirty years. By day, she works at a research center at UNC Charlotte. By night and weekends, she writes, fueled by dark chocolate, Diet Coke, and determination. Jennifer enjoys rom-coms, long conversations about books, and being thoroughly supervised by a very opinionated cat who believes all keyboards exist solely for napping.
