Andranik Aghazarian

Andranik (Antronig) Aghazarian is a Canadian-born writer, educator, and licensed teacher of Armenian heritage. He holds a BA in Anthropology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a certificate in NGO Management, Certificate in Conducting Ethical Surveys, and a Micro-Masters in Leading Educational Innovation and Improvement from the University of Michigan. He also holds an active American teaching license from Washington, DC.

With a diverse professional background in non-profit research, entrepreneurship, business, and education, Andranik excels at integrating economics, political analysis, and pedagogy to offer a unique perspective on the challenges of the 21st century. His global experiences, especially in Mainland China, have fueled his passion for inspiring students to create meaningful legacies through informed, purposeful action.

In his nearly decade-long career, Andranik has mentored hundreds of students, guiding them to exceed academic expectations and secure entrance to prestigious institutions. His students have consistently placed in provincial and national speech competitions, earning 2nd and 3rd place honors.

His book, A Comprehensive Guide to Speech and Debate Excellence: Volume 1., draws upon his vast experience teaching and coaching in Shanghai’s competitive private school system. Designed for parents, educators, and coaches, the guide offers field-tested strategies to help young students master essential skills in public speaking, debate, and critical thinking. The book provides insights into real questions posed by American and Western schools, preparing students for competitive entrance exams and school admissions. Through his work at Scholar Academy in Shanghai, Andranik has honed his expertise, helping students develop exceptional communication skills that lead to success both in and out of the classroom.

With an Anthropological background, coupled with experiences in entrepreneurship, business, day trading, and education, Andranik is particularly well-suited to bring together the realms of economics and political analysis to make intelligent predictions of what is to come in this new millennium. Cold War 2.0 is his first full-length novel.
