Rex Holt

Rex is the co-founder and Executive Director of “Le Pont - a bridge to Africa”, an international nonprofit whose mission is to transform lives and cultures through evangelistic, educational, and entrepreneurial partnerships.

Rex and his wife, Sherry, lived in Togo, Africa for 8 years and have served in Africa for the past 36 years while pastoring churches in Jonesboro, Arkansas, Ventura California, McAllen, Texas, and Thousand Oaks, California.

Rex’s passion is to connect the people he loves, Africans, and Americans, for their mutual spiritual, educational, and economic benefit. A bridge goes both ways. Rex explains, "our approach is not giving and helping but investing and partnering. Africa has much to give and to teach and a passion for partnering. We connect those who are looking for an on-ramp to Africa".

Rex and Sherry have three children and six grandchildren, most of whom are involved in the Le Pont - a bridge to Africa mission.
