Matthew Meyer

Matthew Meyer, an Ohio-born author living in North Carolina, began working as an engineer but eventually switched careers to become a college administrator. Matt has always enjoyed writing and telling stories to his daughters. Inspired by his late mother, a second-grade teacher for thirty years, Matt began to write short children's' stories and rhymes. Fortunate to have two very artistic daughters, the Meyer family is now creating children's' books together.

Matt received his doctorate from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Besides collaborating with his two artistic daughters, Layla and Sofia, Matt also writes young adult fantasy-fiction under the pen name of Teo Ray.
