Rosemary Levesque, born in Hawaii, was raised in the colorful state of NH and enjoyed deeply the intimate connection to nature as a child. When she graduated from high school, she was already “school-conditioned” – ready to conquer the world through knowledge, embrace her artistic talents and love of nature, and harness my abilities to become a teacher.
-
Though she loved art, and in fact wanted to pursue teaching art as a career, she found her true calling at the time was science . . . specifically biology. Of course biology was just an extension of her childhood escapades – playing outdoors, holding snakes and frogs, and peering at pond water through the microscope.
-
Little did she know that the study of the nature of life would lead her to her “work” as a Reiki Master teacher, Shaman, and Licensed Spiritual Healer. Furthermore, without a talent for musical instruments, she found a calling to work with sound vibration and became a Certified Vibrational Sound Master Teacher.
-
Years later, after becoming a biology teacher at her old high school, getting married, and moving to South Korea to start her new life, she found herself being called away – or called BACK to her home in New Hampshire. Her mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer, had a mastectomy, and was undergoing radiation treatments to shrink any remaining cancer cells before receiving chemotherapy.
-
Her life was suddenly turned upside-down. All of her training in science did not prepare her for this scenario. She couldn’t help her mother HEAL, and the medical system not only failed to produce the desired outcome, but caused great harm in the process. They both felt helpless and powerless.
-
After her mother passed away, she was left with emptiness and fear. She swallowed her trauma and gave up her trust in a healthy future. She believed that the answer to cancer was early diagnosis – a sort of search and destroy mission. If she followed a program of medical intervention through biopsies, removals, mammograms, and other tests, she could beat what she was told would likely come. The statistics weren’t in her favor. Even her own doctor recommended a yearly mammogram “for prevention” because of her mother’s experience.
-
Rosemary had to learn about natural healing the hard way. Her dear yellow lab, Ginger, developed diabetes – then cancer a few years later – and she had to learn very quickly what no formal education could teach her about nutrition, energy healing, detoxification, belief, and hope.
-
Rosemary believes that the wisdom to HEAL is innately held in the body. The wisdom to become aligned to the highest expression of the soul is already there – it just needs awakening . . . and learning.
-
Today, Rosemary lives in Oregon and writes with a bird on her shoulder and a dog at her feet, taking frequent breaks, of course, to always reconnect with nature.
