Writing is fun My first book, Creating Success with a Criminal Record, was published in 2019. Prior to that my writing consisted of a couple of short stories, some poetry, blogging for the Virginian Pilot Online, and a number of short articles for various local publications.

My background includes 10 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U, S. Navy, a couple of years as a technical writer, a few years as a college instructor, and over two decades as a Job Developer for Job Corps and for STEP-UP, Incorporated. Working for STEP-UP, Incorporated, I helped people with criminal records re-establish themselves in their communities and to find employment. I taught career development in various local jails and in various Virginia Department of Corrections facilities.I also acted as a case manager for individuals who had been incarcerated.

I am now working on a follow-up book to my first book, Creating Success with a Criminal Record.
