Karl L. Oakes

Karl L. Oakes is married to the lovely and gracious Denita. They have three grown children - all married - and reside in Eugene, Oregon. Much of the initial research for The Peter Myth was done at the University of Oregon. Karl is an elder in the church of God, and they had the privilege of a fellowship meeting in their home for many years. In 2014, the couple moved to the Greek island of Samos, where they engaged in missionary work and visited many of the places featured in the New Testament.
