Kate Szostak

Kate Szostak, lives in the UK with her husband and two beautiful children, an overactive dog and three chickens.

Originally from Canada, she met her husband at “La Tomatina” in Spain, where after throwing tomatoes at each other, they immediately decided that adopting a child would be part of their future.

After the birth of her son, they started a three year odyssey to bring home their perfect baby girl from an Eastern European orphanage .

Seeing all the children that needed families, led her to start a charity, Blue Bear Family Foundation, which provides grants to potential adopters who are in the process of adopting children with extra needs.

An advocate for adoption and children with extra needs, 10% of all sales will go the Blue Bear Family Foundation, which provides grants for families adopting children with special needs.
