Laura is an award-winning researcher, author, coach and experienced business leader.
She is also a mid-lifer and, like most mid-lifers, she has a lot going on. She is mum to Lewi and Jas and partner to Rob. Identical twin to Lind and older sister to Val. 'Eldest daughter' to Dee and Neville. Aunty to a clutch of fabulous nephews and nieces. A very amateur photographer and a reluctant house renovator. She only manages to stay human if she does something active every day.
She really began to discover her dancer five years ago after she was divorced, began studying again and was made redundant. Becoming an author has been a major milestone in her transition—stimulating her to find her voice, embrace her vulnerability and hone a bunch of new skills.
She held director-level positions for respected businesses across six different sectors including retail (John Lewis Partnership), pharmaceuticals (GSK), insurance (Aviva), oil and gas (Centrica), defence (BAE Systems) and luxury goods (Burberry).
Talent and careers are a lifelong passion. Her current work is a portfolio of writing, speaking, coaching and consulting: championing fulfilling mid-life careers for individuals and businesses.
