B. MacShane is a British Australian writer and artist, and author of the series, The Woodlander. His debut novel from the series, The Arrival of Fate, is followed by the short-story prelude, An Unremarkable Envelope.
Having spent many years walking his dog, Griff, through the ancient forests and woodlands of Oxfordshire and Cornwall, The Woodlander concept became a deafening roar that demanded to be written.
MacShane started creating fantasy worlds as a child, as a way to soften the harsh Australian bushland in his backyard. Recreating the natural environment as backdrops, plays an important role in his magical storytelling.
