Richard Scott

I am a retired college instructor (Anderson University) and a retired business executive. My wife and I grew up in the hills of eastern Kentucky. We had three children, two daughters and one son. We lost both daughters, one at the age of 15 months and one at the age of 36. God has blessed us with three granddaughters, one grandson and in October God is blessing us with our fourth great grandson! My wife and I have been called to be ministers several times, but we never became ordained ministers, instead we worked as lay ministers. Our life has been one with a lot of adventures, we often times took a leap of faith, and we really didn't know where God was leading us until we got there. God gave both of us several Spiritual Gifts, which allowed us to minister together. As you read through our book you will see that God tested our faith many times and we learned to lean on him and each other. We celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary in March 2022. Our goal for this book is not for fame or fortune but to hopefully help someone on their life's journey. God is good all the time God is good!
