About the author:

Sandra K. Washington born and raised in Germany.

She had been dreaming of becoming an author since 7th grade.

Arrived in the United States in 2009 as an Au Pair.

Met her soulmate on July 28th 2013 & married him on October 26th 2013.

They have welcomed three children since then.

The first book is a lifelong dream becoming reality.

The soon-to-be book series is based on the author's mixed family, but especially focuses on her curly-headed daughters, to help the underrepresentation of biracial children in the children's book sector.

The first book includes her German heritage, it is written in German and English. It is the author‘s hope, to spark interest in other cultures and languages.

Created with love, little minds and parents in mind, this author focuses on the whole family.
