Dorothy Vandekamp

Dorothy Vandekamp was born in Pennsylvania. Being one of 7 children, she shared the responsibility from an early age to cook for a large family with mom. A passion that grew a little naturally and a little out of necessity that resulted in a real vocation when one of her brothers fell ill and died of a bad disease.

A very traumatic and difficult event to deal with that led her to choose to study medicine, but the studies suited her tight because she wanted to continue to cultivate her unconditional love for the kitchen. Thus she found her purpose in life by merging the principles of medicine with those of cooking to help people cure or alleviate diseases and lead at the same time a healthy and balanced life.
