Hugo and Daddy’s Night-time Adventures is officially my first book stepping into the author world, and it’s an extremely proud moment. I found inspiration during lockdown in 2020 after loosing my wife shortly after giving birth in 2018 to our only Son Hugo Jaden Hart. The creation of the book has provided me with peace moving forward through my grief, and I’m sure there’s many more to come in terms of children’s books going forward for our only Son Hugo. 1 year after publication the book is doing very well amongst readers and became 2nd best seller on Amazon in its first month published.

Hugo and Daddy’s Thailand Adventures is the sequel to the first children’s book where Daddy takes Hugo through the heart of Thailand following the steps Mummy and Daddy took during their wedding in 2015 and also exploring more islands during 2016-2017. This adventure book is a symbol for all kids, to show that after loosing a loved one, hope and adventure can still be in sight.

Hugo and Daddy’s Superhero Adventures and Hart's Hero holds a powerful message in this children's superhero book, all created for Hugo, our only son. Soon after the passing of Hugo's Mummy Jade when he was born, his Daddy found huge inner strength whilst dealing with his grief and wants to pass this on to Hugo so he will learn confidence, and find courage and strength as he grows as a person - Hart's Hero.

Hugo and Daddy’s School Adventures

This is the fifth and final book in the 'Hugo and Daddy' series and it marks a major milestone for author Ric Hart who started the series following the birth of his son Hugo, shortly followed by the sad death of Hugo's mummy Jade. This episode sees Hugo starting primary school and Ric could not be prouder...

The book shares the journey of Daddy taking Hugo to school for his first day at primary school and sees them turning what can be quite an overwhelming experience for children into something to embrace with confidence.

Ric sees the books as a way of turning negative trauma into positive magic for Hugo, and hopes that, when he grows older, Hugo will see how Daddy turned those tragic years into something beautiful for him.

My Autobiography, Pupy Love

A true love story of how two people met as childhood sweethearts, and managed to get over so many stepping stones growing up but remained as one never letting go or forgetting what brought them together in the first place.

A story of tragic loss and how Ric Hart moved through grief finding inner strength, resilience and hope for his future and all that shall come, sharing all the steps he took to find peace and acceptance whilst managing the loss of a soul mate, best friend, wife and lover.

I’m no literacy expert, but publishing the story of our lives and sharing with many, has helped me through my grief journey and I’m sure will relate to many who are grieving certainly losing a husband or wife.

I’m proud of how I have stepped into sharing my thoughts/journey and my life with Jade from the word go, to the world as this was my promise to Jade and myself. Takes strength to do this and I certainly found it.

I will be donating my book sales to Way Widowed and Young to add value with a charity where people have lost a husband or wife, giving great purpose behind this special project.
