Bernard R. Crane

Bernard Crane is a composer, a music theorist, pianist & conductor. With degrees from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY(1975) and the San Francisco Conservatory (2004) he himself has composed numerous works for solo instruments, chamber pieces and works for chorus.

With his chance encounter of past composer Helen C. Crane's (1868-1930) voluminous and valuable manuscripts (published and unpublished) in the New York Public Library's Special Collections, and in light of her unique and masterful composer's voice, Mr. Crane is now busy seeing to the editing, collation, publication and dissemination of her (a distant relative) music to musicians and discerning audiences.
