Douglas A. Bass

Douglas A. Bass was an attorney for over twenty years, but his true passion had always been, and continues to be, writing. After two decades of daily reminders that the legal profession was not where he belonged, nor where he could do his part to make the world a better place, Doug retired and answered the call to his next great career challenge, as a secondary school social studies teacher. As a teacher, Doug gets the pleasure of working with great kids every day, striving to inspire them to reach for the stars and feel excitement about the future that awaits them! Doug continues to write and is always keeping his eyes, ears, mind, and heart open so that he may recognize that next great idea that will give birth to his next writing adventure. Doug lives in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State with his beautiful wife, Sheila, and their three wonderful children.
