Brenda Thompson

Brenda Thompson is a mother of three adult children and six grandchildren. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and spent her younger years between Chicago, Illinois, and West Point, Mississippi. After graduating high school, she attended Chicago State University in Chicago, Illinois, where she earned her BS Degree in Accounting. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Since early adulthood, she dreamed of writing her own story about her spiritual journey while going through adversity. She finally found the courage to put pen to paper with her book Out of The Ashes, chronicling her pain, despair, faith, and hope and strengthening her relationship with God. Ms. Thompson enjoys writing, traveling and spending quality time with close friends and family. She is a member of Brown Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi, where she serves on the Greeter's Ministry.
