I grew up wanting to make a positive difference in people's lives, and I have been so fortunate to do just that. My name is Sunita Sehmi, and I am the founder of Walk The Talk, Coaching and Consulting Services to Global Organisations and NGOs. My rich and diverse background, (I am Indian, British and Swiss), allows me to deeply understand my clients whatever their expertise and wherever they are operating in the world.
I support CxOs, senior executives, and their teams in enhancing their leadership effectiveness, enabling them to foster exceptional inclusive and collaborative behaviours. Some of my clients include the CERN, Gavi The Vaccine Alliance, Facebook, IMD Business School, The Tata Group, McKinsey, the United Nations and Novartis.
I studied Organisational and Developmental Psychology at the Bachelor level and the Development and Training of Adults at the Post Graduate level in the UK. I also hold a Master's in Coaching and Career Management from Geneva School of Economics and Management. I am an ICF-accredited executive coach and an ICF NLP-accredited practitioner.
An avid writer, I am a content writer at Forbes Middle East and Thrive Global. I have interviewed Andy Puddicombe, Jim O'Neill, James Doty, Bryon Katie, Irvin Yalom, Tal Ben-Shahar, Arianna Huffington, Seth Berkley, and K. Anders Ericsson, to name a few. I am the author of How To Get Out Of Your Own Way, For Women Who Want To Win. My second book, The Power of Belonging – A Guide For Leaders, will be out in 2021.
In my free time, I am a Mentor for the Richard Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship and a volunteer for the Hospice, La Maison De Tara, in my hometown, Geneva, Switzerland.
