Amit Chopra

Amit Chopra, MD is an award winning clinician, academician, and a researcher who is currently practicing as a Psychiatrist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. He obtained his medical training at Sawai Man Singh College in India, followed by research and clinical training in UK at King’s College London and University College London, and completed his Psychiatry Residency, Sleep Medicine Fellowship, and Deep Brain Stimulation Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. He is deeply passionate about identifying and treating sleep disorders in psychiatric patients. His research endeavors have garnered national attention with him winning several prestigious research awards. He has been invited to regional, national, and international medical meetings to educate his peers and trainees on management of sleep disorders in patients with psychiatric illnesses.
