ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Ross Wylie. I was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

I am a married father of two, a son and daughter both in their twenties.

I spent most of my career in sales and marketing within the surveying/construction industry, though the last ten years were in retail.

When our children were younger I preferred to create bedtime stories rather than read from a book. I have always dabbled in writing short stories, never published or thought of publishing. This was a hobby and no more than that. I never had the time or belief, it was just something I enjoyed doing and a way to relax after a day at work.

I started writing adult fantasy fiction, I wrote one novel with a sequel and a few ideas to follow up on.

One evening an idea came to me and I decided to put it on paper. I put the adult fiction to one side and started to write about a character that I had created for my daughter when she was a child. Lucinda the fairy.

I started to write and the story kept evolving and ideas came and the ‘Lucinda’ series was published.
