Malcolm Dick

Malcolm Dick is a British author who was born in the historic cathedral city of Lichfield in Staffordshire. After studying history at universities in Hull and Leicester (he gained his PhD from Leicester), he taught in post-16 and adult education in London and the West Midlands. Malcolm currently lectures at the University of Birmingham where he runs the Centre for West Midlands History, which encourages teaching, research and public engagement in the history of heritage of the region. He has written, co-written and edited several books on the members of the Lunar Society, Birmingham and the Black Country and regularly gives on these subjects.
