Gerrien Anbeek (1967) is a Dutch author, (non-)executive director and board advisory, who lives in Amsterdam. Her first book “Een Tesla Inparkeren Kan Iedereen (Everyone can park a Tesla)” has been published in 2020. The "story" behind the book "Everyone Can Park a Tesla" is based on the sigh of a successful manager whether he could keep up with the digital transformation of his organization. Gerrien answered with a comparison; that she also did not know exactly how the battery and artificial intelligence of a Tesla work, but that with her current driver's license and study of the manual, she’ll be on the road with confidence. Gerrien has pioneered some of the most cutting edge approaches on how board governance could maneuver and expand in the digital era. She leverages her unique leadership in digital transformation model - with the renowned leadershiptransformationcycle® and hourglassmodel® - to bring better leadership to digital transformation in the context of the Future of Work. Prior, she was an Associate Director at Ernst & Young and Global Director Program & Change Management at KPMG Consulting in Washington DC, New York, and London. Gerrien holds a MSc in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences - Management & Organisation, and BSc Human Resources of the University Utrecht, the Netherlands. She is a certified (non-)executive director, executive coach, and mediator.
