Daila Espeut-Jones

An immigrant from Jamaica, Daila Espeut-Jones entered the United States in 1979 as a fifteen-year-old resident at a home in Mattapan, Massachusetts that later became the demise of her virginity. The home became toxic, and this led her to join the United States Army in 1982 and ultimately serving 22 years.

Today Daila is a retired First Sergeant, an entrepreneur, public speaker, veteran’s advocate, and volunteer with several organizations.
