Ocir JaRon Black

Ocir JaRon Black is the son of Marquis RonRico “Rico” Black and D. JaMese Morris Black. He is the oldest of two. Ocir along with his twin brother Zyon JaRiq Black was born in Florence, South Carolina, and reside in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“O” as many call him, is currently a sophomore at the Early College of Forsyth, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is also a student-athlete who runs track for Parkland High School. His career goals include becoming a Lawyer, as well as, an entrepreneur. He excels in reading, writing, and above all activism. He is rooted and promotes strong family values and strives to gain a deep understanding of his history and culture.

The concept of this book was close to his heart as it displays the relationship between Mothers and Sons. This was a special bond that was established with his grandmothers and mother. The goal for all who read is to gain an understanding of how mothers feel and believe when it comes to raising their sons. Also, his vision is to provide guidance and support to those struggling to understand a mother’s view and love that exists for their growth and in some cases grown black males.
